How to pack the cupboard!

Do not put wooden boards in the cupboard as they can fall down!

How to leave the tables at the end of the evening!

  • Birch room – leave 2 small tables up
  • Between Pine and Heather – lean 4 small tables against wall
  • Opposite the kitchen – 2 x 2 small tables leaning against the wall
  • Store Room – 6 large tables against far wall on RHS, move back Church cushions in front.

  • Pine – 5 small tables (10 players) OR 4 large tables e.g. for two 4 board Rapid matches (16 players)
  • Birch – 2 large tables plus up to 4 small tables (up to 20 players)
  • Heather – 5 small tables (10 players) OR 4 large tables (up to 16 players)

This gives us a total capacity in the 3 rooms of up to around 52 players.

The main hall is very suitable for tournaments. It can very comfortably hold 60 players, and probably up to 84.

The hall also has a powerful ceiling projector with a big screen that can be lowered at the back of the stage along with a speakers and soundproofing. We use the projector and screen for tournaments to display the round pairings, round results and cross tables.
