2023 May Blitz Tournament

For the second club meeting at our new premises at Heatherside Community Centre, we ran a very successful ECF-rated blitz tournament.

There were 22 players and 8 rounds with a time control of 3 mins plus 2 sec increment. The session went according to plan, starting at 7:30pm with the last round finishing at 9:30pm. See below for photos.

Well done to everyone who played, there were some fantastic performances especially amongst the 8 juniors, with everyone winning at least one game.

The overall winner was Colin Purdon, who is now the Camberley Chess Club 2023 Blitz Champion. Well done Colin!

Also a big thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation, setting up and clearing away!
