We have 14 junior members with ages ranging from 8 to 17, and there are usually 6 or so juniors at the club on Thursday evenings. Our approach is to integrate our juniors into the main club and teach them by informal coaching, where our match commitments allow. The club does not have a separate junior section, but we do occasionally run tournaments just for juniors.
Our Sunday afternoon sessions are less formal than Thursdays, and provide more opportunity for coaching, advice and chatting, so they are good for beginners and new members. Sunday chess is probably the easiest way to try Camberley Chess Club for the first time.
