Camberley Chess Club will host its weekly Arena chess tournament on chess.com. As for previous events, the time limit for each game will be 5 minutes plus a 2 second per move increment, and the tournament will last for 60 minutes. We are excited to announce that Grandmaster David Howell will be our star guest on 18th May. David is the UK number 2, was this country’s youngest GM at the age of 16, and has been British champion 3 times. He will talk us through some games and there will be a Q&A session where members can ask questions. This event is free and open to all. International Match
We are planning an online match and joint Zoom meeting with foreign club. Details to follow. If this cannot be arranged time, we will play a consultation game between two teams of members allocated on the night. Camberley Chess Club meets online via Zoom video conference every Tuesday evening at 8pm. If you are not yet an online member and would like to join in online, please request in advance by emailing info@camberleychess.co.uk
