Camberley Chess Club – Over the Board meetings
The club has dedicated training and coaching sessions for Juniors – Please see our Juniors page for details.
We have members playing at all chess skill levels (casual, club, league and tournament players). Come along, play some chess and see the club. We also have teams in the Berkshire Leagues and the Surrey Border Leagues playing standard play and Rapid play matches.
Thursday evenings 7:30pm to 10:30pm at Heatherside Community Centre, Martindale Avenue, Heatherside, Camberley, GU15 1BB.
There is free parking behind the Community Centre and outside the Sainsburys local store which is next door. There is also street parking on Cumberland Road (towards The Maultway) and at the end of Loweswater Walk and Brandon Close (both off Pendragon Way). Camberley Chess Club Google page.
Sunday afternoons at Pine Ridge Golf Club, Old Bisley Road, Camberley, GU16 9NX. All welcome just come along, we always have lots of people playing friendly casual chess. We meet at the back of the main bar area, inside or outside overlooking the greens, dependent on the weather. Free parking.
Camberley Chess Club is in Camberley, Surrey, in the Surrey Heath Borough Council area (Camberley, Frimley, Mytchett, Bagshot, Lightwater, Windlesham, Bisley and Chobham), Near where Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire join. We have members from Camberley, Frimley, Farnborough, Aldershot, Fleet, Farnham, Basingstoke, Hook, Yateley, Wokingham, Crowthorne, Bracknell, Ascot, Virginia Water, Woking, Guildford and surrounding areas.
